It sounds like we have some sore losers here...

It's obvious by the number of companies that have gone out of business and the number of financial institutions that have either struggled or closed their doors that Mr. Yun is not the only respected financial leader that did not foresee the enormous hit the Real Estate market has taken. I am in the Northern California, Central Valley and can tell you with 100% certaintly that the Real Estate market IS getting better this quarter. That is a FACT and I have the local data to PROVE IT. Mr. Yun is likely right on with his predictions for the remaining year. Many other well respected forecasters, such as Jim Smith (the Wall Street Journal's favored forecaster) has made almost identicle predictions to Mr. Yun. I don't think ANYBODY could have predicted that this market could have ever sunk to the level it has.

It is pathetic how some people become hell bent on maintaining such a negative perspective and attempting to skapegoat somebody in order to take the focus off of their own problems. It is like an insidous disease that some people cling to. It is extremely naive and shortsighted. Some people cannot understand how their perpetual focus on negativity VASTLY contributes to the problem and only perpetuates their own ignorance and fear while inciting it in others. It becomes a self fullfilling prophecy.

Yes, the market has been an enormous disappointment to many; yes, there is a ton of pain out there; yes, it has been wealth destroying in more than a few cases, but it's not the end of the world, and IT IS GETTING BETTER!!!! Prices are still down, but volume is increasing, availability of money is beginning to losen, and we WILL get through this!

GROW UP AND BECOME PART OF THE SOLUTION INSTEAD OF BEING PETTY AND PART OF THE PROBLEM!!!

I'm with you Benjamin. When he and Lereah make predictions that turn out to be false, no one in the media seems to care. They just keep printing their new sh*t as if its veritability is unimportant.

Wow things are so bad at the NAR that they can't find an English speaking economist who is willing to prostitute his opinions for some cold hard cash?
